Four Inspiration Stories - Email Template
I’m riding for all individuals with autism to ensure they have the tools and abilities to reach their highest potential.
This year, I will be participating in Bike to the Beach for autism, an annual charity cycling event dedicated to raising awareness and funding for autism. This event aims to support the over 3 million people affected by autism in the US, and the tens of millions worldwide.
Autism Speaks has greatly helped individuals with autism and their families by funding research, increasing awareness, and advocacy.
The following stories are inspirational and provide insight about how autism affects people and communities.
- The story of Anthony Ianni, the first-ever individual with autism to play Division I college basketball.
- The story of Ryan Rogers, who was just diagnosed with Aspergers in 2013, and became the “first documented person in history with autism to win a medal (bronze) in Kata, the 18 to 34 year old novice non-handicap division at the U.S Karate Nationals (usankf.org).
- The story of Gianna Hitsos who has taught others about her journey through hight school to college and who become known for her singing ability.
- The story of Chrissy Kelly who in “Life with Greyson” writes about the emotions surrounding her son’s autism diagnosis.
That’s why I’m biking for autism this year: To make a difference. And to get us one step closer to helping individuals with autism and their families gain the knowledge and the resources to achieve unlimited possibilities!
Here’s how you can help: Make a donation to support me. I have a fundraising goal that I hope to meet before the day of the charity ride – your contribution will get me one step closer!
That’s not all! Please help me spread the word, whether it be through social media, email, etc. The more support we have, the better.
