Thomas Schmitz graduated Georgetown University in May 2007 with a bachelor's degree in American Studies. He is an original Founder of Bike to the Beach, Inc., and has completed the annual Bike to the Beach ride seven times.
Benjamin Dalley graduated from Brown University in 2003 with a BA in Business Economics & Sociology, and again in 2004 with a Masters Degree in Sociology with a focus on Urban Real Estate Development. Mr. Dalley is a graduate of Georgetown Preparatory School in North Bethesda, MD.
Mr. Dalley is currently the principal of Gibraltar Asset Management Group, LLC and is active in real estate consulting, investment, and development.
Mr. Dalley is also an original Founder of Bike to the Beach, Inc., and has completed the annual Bike to the Beach ride nine times, every year since the group's inception.
Joseph W. Schmitz is a Boston College class of 2003 alumnus having graduated with Bachelors of Arts in Communications and German. He works for Coakley and Williams Construction as a project engineer and manages commercial construction projects which have included 4 buildings at National Harbor, one of the largest construction sites in the country.
Mr. Schmitz is a Founder of Bike to the Beach, Inc., and has completed the annual Bike to the Beach nine times, every year since the group's inception.
Kevin H. Rapp is a University Of South Carolina class of 2006 alumnus having graduated with Bachelors of Arts in Journalism while minoring in Political Science. He works for Colorworks Promotions as a Marketing Consultant.
This will be Mr. Rapp's third Bike to the Beach.
Robby Walsh is in charge of Rider Relation Management for Bike to the Beach. He is a graduate from Lehigh University in 2007 where he played 4 years of varsity lacrosse. Before that Robby attended Gonzaga College High School and graduated in 2003. Robby is currently a teacher at the Washington Latin Public Charter School as well as a coach for Curl Burke Swimming and St. Alban's Varsity Lacrosse. This will be Mr. Walsh's third Bike to the Beach.
Josh Posnick graduated from The University of Delaware in 2007 with a B.S in Leadership and Consumer Economics. While in college, Josh was a member of the Blue Hen Lacrosse Program and co-founded J&G Productions, a company that focused on event planning and alternative entertainment solutions for college students. Mr. Posnick is a graduate of The Bullis Preparatory School in Potomac, MD.
Josh is a real estate professional in Washington, DC. He specializes in tenant representation and has experience in all facets of lease and sales transactions, and has vast experience addressing the real estate needs of associations, non-profits, law firms, and corporations in the Metropolitan Area.
Josh brings extensive experience in event planning and fundraising to Bike to the Beach.
John Blomstrom is a native of Southern California and a 2008 Graduate of the George Washington University School of Business. His focus of study was on Entrepreneurial Development. He also spent 5 years in the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Blomstrom currently works for Science Applications International Corporation as a Senior Systems Analyst supporting the Department of Defense on a variety of strategic business and technological development initiatives.
This will be his third Bike to the Beach ride.
Patrick Dildine graduated from Dickinson College with a B.A. in Anthropology and Archaeology and is scheduled to complete his Masters in Architecture at Catholic University in December. As a Native Washingtonian, he graduated from Maret high school in Washington D.C. Currently, his focus is on providing web, graphic, 3d, Architectural visualization services to the D.C. metro area.
This will be his fourth Bike to the Beach ride.
