Welcome to the World of Bike to The Beach

Bike to the Beach thanks those who rode, donated and supported our 2010 Century Ride. This year's ride was a huge success with over $325,000 raised for Autism Speaks!

Bike to the Beach for Autism is a vibrant, fun, energetic community whose passion for cycling is coupled with fundraising and awareness for the developmental disease, Autism. Based in the Washington DC Area, Bike to the Beach (B2B) strives for achieving mental and physical health through social activity, physical exercise, creativity, hard work, volunteering, and of course biking!

Operating as a non-profit, B2B carries out its mission through year-round efforts leading up to the annual 100 mile charity bike ride from Washington DC to the Delaware seashore. Throughout the year you may see the B2B team engaging the local Washington DC community by supporting bike outings, charitable fundraisers and various social activities or forming partnerships with local health organizations and companies. Funds raised during this period are donated to Autism Speaks, the nation’s largest Autism advocacy organization.

Since 1999 B2B has grown from a two-person annual tradition to an organization boasting hundreds of members who will ride with us not just this coming July 30th, but all year round. B2B aims to continue to inspire people everywhere to embrace the joys and benefits of bike riding and, while doing so, energize them to support charities and causes that impact those around them.
