NEW YORK 2011

Ride Snapshot:  Bike to the Beach NY will ride from Union Square, NYC to Westhampton Beach, NY on June 10, 2011.

This will be the second year of Bike to the Beach NY. In 2010, B2B launched the NY leg of the ride on the same day as the annual ride in Washington DC. Twenty-five pioneering riders gathered in the pre-dawn hours at Union Square in Manhattan to set out on a century ride that ended in Westhampton Beach, NY.

We are excited to build on the success achieved by the flagship ride in Washington DC. By tapping into the large and vibrant NYC biking and charity communities, B2B NY hopes to increase awareness for autism through Autism Speaks while inspiring achievement and personal empowerment through the strength of teamwork. Bike to the Beach brings together friends, family, cycling, and the beach all in the name of a great cause. We hope you can join us as a rider, volunteer or donor!
