Bike Rentals

This year we are lucky to be working with Bike and Roll, the NY area’s largest bike rental company. Bike and Roll will provide full service road bike rentals for our riders at a great discount for the first 50 renters to sign up (50 is the max because it is the size of their road bike fleet here in NYC, and we do not recommend doing this ride on a hybrid or other type of bike).

Bike and Roll will deliver your bike to the starting line where their mechanics will set up each rider on their bike for the ride. At the Finish Line in Westhampton Beach, Bike and Roll personnel will collect the rented bikes, so all you need to do is show up and ride!

NOTE: Bike and Roll will provide helmets
NOTE: Bike and Roll will NOT provide lights, which will be required for the main ride since we will be leaving pre-dawn. We recommend purchasing these lights (http://www.knog.com.au/gear-lights/) or something similar, since they are easy to attach the morning of the ride.

Pricing:

Ride Only: $69
Ride + One Training Ride: 69 + 49 = $118
Ride + Two Training Rides: 69 + 39 + 39 = $147
How to Sign-up for your Rental:

Call Bike and Roll (1-212-260-0400) and tell them you are a Bike to the Beach Participant, they will ask you a few questions to determine the appropriate bike size for you, and you will need to pay by credit card over the phone at that time. We highly recommend doing one of the packages with at least one training ride, so you have a chance to get comfortable with the bike before the ride.
